The pulzArt Contemporary Art Festival‘s purpose, lauched in 2013, was that, by the outstanding representatives of contemporary art, to present such art forms, aspirations and styles, which represent a new way of thinking. Over the past four years, the program of the festival was organized around a well-defined theme, but this year it focuses on community participation. Instead of a passive, viewer attitude, it emphasizes the importance of active participation and wishes to strengthen the social impact of cultural events. Its aim is that we try to deal better with community problems. Furthermore, the organizers would like that this year’s festival to become a space, a scene of community creation and community experience, a scene in which city’s inhabitants dare to participate, boldly and openly. The V.th pulzArt festival takes place between August 31 and September 3 in Sfântu Gheorghe.
