A diverse, improvisational, and meditative musical world will unfold in SunMa’s concert on the 17th of September, the closing day of the 9th edition of pulzArt. András Koroknay, born in Transylvania, presents this colourful spectrum in a trio formation featuring Ádám Klausz on drums and András Kálmán on keyboards, in a tailor-made live set. You’re in for an undoubtedly unique concert experience if you join us!

Koroknay András is currently one of Hungary’s most innovative music producers. While he’s renowned as a bass guitarist in several bands (Àbáse, Manaky, Papaver, Európa Kiadó), he has shifted his focus to his solo project, SunMa.

Self-characterised as a nomadic sound artist, the musician currently divides his time between Budapest, Berlin, and India. His releases (steadily growing in numbers in 2020) build a meditative musical world rooted in dub, traversing a wide variety of other styles and sounds.

Since his Berlin debut in 2022 (Badehaus), he has performed at outstanding venues such as the House of Music Hungary, the A38 ship and, most recently, the Budapest Showcase Hub.

Currently, amidst continuous new releases such as the “Fourth Moment” mixtape, he is working on his most intricate material yet, recorded at a prominent Berlin-based studio, the Brewery.
