Cédric Hanriot Trio (FR)
Cédric Hanriot is a French pianist, music composer, sound designer, music producer and educator, especially known for his work in the fields of jazz, jazz fusion, hip-hop, funk, latin jazz, electronic and pop.
With his trio project, Cédric offers a music open to the cross-currents of jazz, pop and groove. The group playfully explores famous international themes taken from the pop of Katy Perry, the rock of Nirvana, or the electronic music of Massive Attack. The trio is also revisiting a number of popular French songs and exploring Cedric’s original compositions in which groove and interaction are the main focus.
Their music is distinguished by the addition of electronic textures that interact with acoustic instruments (piano, drums and bass) bringing a cinematic dimension to the trio.
